Under the television
A thin replacement power cord for a mounted television on an inverted outlet, with a small strip at the end for other components.
When an outlet is installed with the round ground pin over the slots, our standard plate will not hang right. We molded this plate for that inverted wall plug. It covers the outlet, routes power up to the screen, and brings three extra plugs down where you can use them.
Look at your wall plate before you begin. If the round ground hole sits over the two flat slots, this is the layout we built this plate to fit. It plugs straight into the top half of that upside down duplex.
One branch of this flat cord plugs straight into your set. The end matches the small figure eight socket found on many flat screens, with one side squared off so it only inserts one way. Check the back of your set first.
You do not lose the outlet behind the set. The cord runs five feet down the baseboard to a small power strip with three places to plug in media boxes, streaming sticks, or game consoles.
The kit includes removable adhesive strips and clips to hold the flat line against your painted drywall. Clean the baseboard or wall first, press the adhesive down, and route the cord along the trim without opening any walls.
Cut the same way
Every one of these takes the same ground pin as the piece above, so if this one is close but not quite, start here.
