Desk and bench
We made this thin wall plate and six outlet strip for upside down outlets behind desks and media shelves.
Some rooms have outlets installed with the round ground hole above the two vertical slots. We shaped this plate to fit that orientation, so your desk or audio shelf can sit back against the baseboard while the strip rests where you need it.
Check your wall before choosing this one. The prongs on the back line up only when the round ground hole sits over the two flat blades on the upper receptacle.
You do not need a screwdriver. The plate pushes into the upper socket like a household plug, covering both openings completely so nothing sticks out to bump the back of your desk.
The cord drops down the wall and follows the trim. We include removable double sided adhesive strips and small clips to keep the line flat against painted drywall or wood.
The six foot run ends in a block with six receptacles and built in surge suppression. It puts plugs up on the media shelf where components sit, rather than down behind furniture.
Cut the same way
Every one of these takes the same ground pin as the piece above, so if this one is close but not quite, start here.
