Terms
The small type
Plain conditions for a site that sells nothing directly. Using these pages means accepting them, and they are short enough to read in one go.
What this site is
A catalog of outlet concealers made by Socket Solutions, LLC, with notes on how they mount and which one fits which wall. It is not a shop. Every purchase happens on a retail partner page under their conditions.
Prices and stock
Figures on these pages are copied from listings when the pages are built and can be out of date by the time they are read. The listing is the number that counts, and where the two disagree the listing wins.
A piece shown here can be out of stock or withdrawn without this catalog catching up immediately. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell.
Using what is on the page
The text, the photographs and the layout belong to the company. Quote a paragraph with a link back and nobody will mind. Copying whole pages, or lifting the catalog into another site, is not allowed.
Product photographs come from the listings and belong to whoever shot them. Brand names and connector designations mentioned in the notes belong to their owners and are used here to say what fits what.
The limits of what is written here
The notes on this site describe ordinary American household outlets and the hardware that goes on them. They are written carefully and they are still general. Your wall, your outlet and the age of your wiring are things no page can see.
Anything involving opening a box, replacing a receptacle or work behind the drywall belongs to a licensed electrician. If a page here and an electrician standing in your room disagree, the electrician is right.
Changes
These conditions get edited when something about the catalog changes. The version on this page is the one in force. There is no mailing list to announce an edit to, which is another reason to keep the page short.
