We make outlet concealers. This site is the catalog of them, written by the people who argue about plate thickness, and it hands you off to a retail partner at the moment you want to buy one.
What we make
Every piece in this catalog does one job in a different size. A flat body plugs into the outlet already in your wall and covers its face. A ribbon of flat cord leaves that body and runs along the baseboard, where a couch or a headboard can sit on top of it without pinching anything round.
The bodies come in two orientations because American outlets come in two orientations. If the round ground hole on your wall sits at the bottom, one plate fits. If it sits at the top, the other one does. That difference decides whether a piece works at all, which is why it has a whole section of the site to itself.
The company behind the plates
The business is Socket Solutions, LLC, and it works out of Houston, TX. It is small. The person who answers a question about how far a plate stands off the wall is usually the person who argued about that number with the tooling shop.
Everything in the catalog is built for the American duplex receptacle at 125 volts and 15 amps, and for nothing else. A different plug standard needs different hardware, and we do not pretend otherwise on any page here.
Why the buying happens somewhere else
There is no cart on this site. Each piece links out to a retail partner, and the listing there is what holds the price, the stock and the date. Prices printed on these pages were read off those listings when the page was built, so the listing is the one to trust.
That arrangement is also why the catalog can stay blunt. Nothing here is ordered by margin, because there is no margin on this end to order it by. Pieces are grouped by where they sit on a wall and by which way the ground pin points, and a piece that does not fit your outlet is told so on its own page.
What we do not do
We do not do electrical work and we do not send anyone to a house. Every piece is designed to go on without a screwdriver. If a job needs a box opened, it needs a licensed electrician, and that is not a thing this company sells.
We also do not make the receptacle itself. A concealer goes over what is already in the wall, so an outlet that is loose or scorched stays loose or scorched under a new plate. Fix that first, then cover it.
