Under the television
Replace your television power cord at an inverted wall outlet so the set can sit flat, with a small strip left over for other gear.
When an outlet is mounted with the round ground hole on top, an ordinary plug pushes a mounted screen away from the wall. We mold this plate to drop straight onto that inverted receptacle. The thin cord replaces the television power line and runs to a small strip below.
Look at the wall receptacle first. If the round ground pin sits over the two flat slots, this plate is matched to it. It sits flat over the face plate without altering the wall box.
The line runs up to a non polarized connector shaped like a flat figure eight with two rounded lobes. It pushes straight into the back of the set, taking the place of the factory power cord.
The five foot run drops down to an attached strip. You gain three places to plug in media boxes, audio components or consoles beneath the screen instead of crowding the original wall plate.
The thin cord hugs the wall using adhesive strips and snap clips we pack with the unit. Press them against clean paint to route the line straight down the drywall to the floor.
Cut the same way
Every one of these takes the same ground pin as the piece above, so if this one is close but not quite, start here.
