Switches and plates
A thin plate cut to fit over an outlet that shares a box with a right-hand light switch, paired with an eight-foot cord and a three-outlet strip.
When a light switch sits right beside your wall outlet, standard covers will not fit the plate. We molded this cover specifically for that side-by-side arrangement. It plugs directly into the top receptacle, sits flush against the plate, and sends power down an eight-foot line to a small block with three receptacles.
Stand in front of the wall and check the layout before choosing this piece. The cutout on this plate matches a two-gang setup where the light toggle sits to the right of the duplex receptacle.
The plate requires standard orientation, where the round ground pin sits below the vertical slots. Push the built-in prongs directly into the top receptacle. No screws come out, and no tools are needed.
The flat cord leaves the bottom of the plate and runs along your baseboard. An eight-foot run gives you enough reach to route power around a heavy desk, dresser, or credenza without pulling tight.
We include double-sided adhesive strips and small clips in the box. Press them against clean painted drywall or trim to hold the line flat against the wall, and peel them off cleanly whenever you move.
Cut the same way
Every one of these takes the same ground pin as the piece above, so if this one is close but not quite, start here.
