Standard plates bump against the toggle when an outlet shares a box with a switch. We cut this plate to sit over the receptacle side while leaving the right hand switch clear to flip. The flat cord runs eight feet down the baseboard to a small block with three outlets for your lamps or chargers.

Switch on the right

Stand in front of your wall plate to check which side the toggle sits on. This piece only lines up when the outlet is on the left and the light switch is on the right hand side.

Upper receptacle attachment

The prongs on the back plug into the top receptacle of a standard duplex outlet with the round ground hole at the bottom. You push it into place like a standard plug without opening the box.

Power where you need it

The flat cord runs eight feet from the plate to an attached strip with three outlets. That brings power past the edge of a bookcase or headboard so you can plug in lamps where they sit.

Wall clips in the box

We include removable double sided adhesive strips and cord clips to guide the wire along the baseboard or wall. The adhesive holds best on a clean, dry surface and peels away without stripping the paint.
