Behind the couch
A thin cover plugs into the top receptacle of a standard outlet, letting heavy furniture sit back flat while a short cord brings three outlets out where you need them.
Pushing a sofa or bed frame back against the baseboard usually stops short because a thick plug is in the way. We molded this thin plate to cover the whole outlet face and plug into the upper receptacle like any normal plug. The short flat cord carries power out from behind the furniture to a small three outlet block.
This plate is molded for a standard duplex outlet hung the usual way, where the round ground opening sits beneath the two vertical slots. It plugs straight into the top receptacle without tools, screws, or removing the wall plate.
Thick plugs force a sofa, nightstand, or kitchen cabinet to stand off the drywall. Our thin cover sits flat across the receptacle face, so your furniture frame can rest back where it belongs instead of stopping on an ordinary cord.
The three foot flat cord stays close to the baseboard for short distances around a bedside table or low sideboard. It ends in a small block that gives you three plugs right beside your furniture instead of behind it.
We include double sided adhesive strips and small clips in the box to hold the flat cord along the wall. The adhesive needs a clean, painted surface to grip well, and both the tape and clips peel away later.

Every one of these takes the same ground pin as the piece above, so if this one is close but not quite, start here.
